Volunteer Opportunity: Game Day Coordinator

Wheatland Kings Seeking Volunteer Game Day Coordinator

The Wheatland Kings are looking to add a dedicated Game Day Coordinator to our volunteer team as we continue to level up the Wheatland Kings experience and grow our small but mighty group behind the scenes.

This volunteer role works directly with Kings management to help ensure smooth and professional game day operations, while also supporting the community-focused atmosphere that makes Kings hockey special. It’s a great opportunity for anyone passionate about sports, interested in a career in the industry, or looking to get more involved in the local community.

The Game Day Coordinator plays a hands-on role during home games and select events. Responsibilities include assisting with live stream setup and monitoring, supporting in-arena logistics and timing, helping with community activations and promotional initiatives, and being an extra set of trusted hands on busy game days. The role requires someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two game days look the same.

This position offers real behind-the-scenes experience in junior hockey operations. Volunteers will work closely with team management, gain insight into how game days are run from start to finish, and be part of the team responsible for creating a great experience for players, fans, sponsors, and the wider Wheatland community.

In addition to valuable experience, benefits include becoming part of the Wheatland Kings family, building connections within the local sports community, and contributing directly to the growth of the organization both on and off the ice.
