At the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings, our commitment to building something bigger than ourselves goes far beyond the ice. It’s about creating a program our players, alumni, and community can be proud of for generations to come. Thanks to the incredible support of KIDCO Construction, we’ve taken a major step forward in that mission.
Back in April, during our Year-End Banquet, General Manager Cody Holdaway shared a special announcement with our players, families, and supporters.
“Now that we’ve taken the time to celebrate the season that was—our hard-fought battles, our victories, and the incredible dedication of our players, staff, and fans—it’s time to talk about the future,” Holdaway said during his address.
The future of the Kings doesn’t just happen on the ice. It starts in the dressing room, the space where players come together, grow together, and prepare to represent our community with pride.
“Our dressing room is more than just four walls, it’s the heart of our team. And tonight, I’m proud to announce that we have officially secured the final funding needed to make our dressing room renovation a reality,” Holdaway said.
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without KIDCO Construction, who made a massive $10,000 donation to the project. Their generosity is not just a gift to our current roster, but an investment in the future of the program.
“This generous contribution ensures that we can create a space built on quality, tradition, and pride, setting up future generations of Kings for success,” Holdaway explained.
This partnership holds an even deeper meaning as KIDCO Construction has a special connection to the King’s family.
“This support means even more because the Kings run deep in KIDCO’s blood. Many of our alumni have found a home there in their working lives, and now, KIDCO is giving back to the program that helped shape them,” Holdaway added.
